KMSST Week 13 Review

The Revolution Tour's freestyle events took place on Monday and Tuesday. Mitch and Alex competed in the halfpipe on Monday. (HP results) While Mitch, Alex and Chris competed in slopestyle competition on Tuesday. (SS results.) The team rode Copper on Wednesday and then traveled to Winterpark at days end. Winterpark was on the radar because the boys wanted to check out the Dark Territory Park... and they were not dissapointed. They had some monster jumps that challenged everyone. I think Mitch was the only one to leave without any sort of minor injury. The team traveled to Boulder the next day to visit the Colorado University at Boulder campus. Chris, the only senior on the team, was just accepted and was very excited to get the opportunity to check it out. Alex's sister Caitlin is a freshman there and was kind enough to give us all a tour of the campus. The team headed to Denver for some dinner after visiting the campus and then took in an NHL hockey game. It was a great game that had the Avalanche beating the Phoenix Coyotes 2-1. The team then jumped into the Suburban and headed straight to the airport for a red eye flight home.
