After a great morning of racing, KWSC/KMS rookie Nikki Sardelli landed the best team result yet, 12th place in slalom!  Congrats Nikki!

On the BX course, Conner was eliminated in the first heat after a rider fell in front of him.  Kerry Clark hammered the course in his first heat and, despite a crash battled back to third place in a fantastic pass, only to crash again. Heartbreaking!!!!

Alex 51
Conner 36
Kerry 23

We are SO proud of all of you!

Last day tomorrow.  Nikki races GS and Alex races slalom.

USASA National Championships

KWSC/KMS athlete Sam Hayden raced to 23rd place in GS yesterday and fought through a slip to beat out dozens of hardboot racers in a feild of 70 riders.  Hayden was also in the top 20 in the USA Climbing National Championship held in Boulder in February.  What a versatile athlete!  We're proud of your training and work ethic Sam, congratulations!!

Today is a big day.  Rookie Nikki Sardelli races slalom and the wrecking crew races BX.  Liam and Kerry Clark, Conner Phillips and Alex Sheppard spent last night reviewing video of the course before the USASA dance party.  They face a competitive field of 70 riders in the youth 14-15 division.

Good luck to all the riders today!
